On August 8, Consul General Wang Zhijian attended the 96th anniversary celebration and the “Chinese Scholarship”award ceremony of the Songkhla Wittayamoonniti School. Also present were  Wanchai Parinasiri,Songkhla Mayor, Chen Hanzhan, Chairman of the Northern Thailand Chinese Schools Association,  and Zhang Jungui, Chairman of the Songkhla Thai-Chinese Community Association.

Wang congratulated the school on its anniversary and stated that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of overseas Chinese language education. He emphasized that China will continue to provide all possible assistance and support, encouraging students to strengthen study and understanding of the Chinese language and culture, and to actively contribute to China–Thailand cultural exchanges in the future.
