On August 8, Consul General Wang Zhijian attended the "Thai Chinese Youth Exchange:Building Sustainable Thai Chinese Community for the Shared Future" exchange event in Songkhla. Asst. Professor DR. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Songkhla Prince University, and Assist. Prof. and Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), and others were present.

Consul General Wang stated that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, a historic milestone for bilateral ties. Youth are the driving force in promoting mutual learning and exchanges between civilizations. Wang looked forward to young people from China and Thailand carrying forward the traditional friendship of the two countries and actively participating in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future. Dr. Niwat noted that China and Thailand face common challenges and opportunities in their respective development processes, and expressed hope that closer youth exchanges could foster more cooperation between the two sides.
