On August 21, Consul General Wang Zhijian visited the Songkhla Demonstration Farm, accompanied by Phuwat, Director of Department of Agicultural Extention.

Consul General Wang toured the mushroom cultivation greenhouse, vegetable planting greenhouse, as well as the aquaculture and meat sheep farming demonstration areas. He held in-depth discussions with the farm’s management and technical staff to learn in detail about the cultivation techniques and economic benefits of relevant demonstration varieties.

Wang emphasized that both China and Thailand are major agricultural countries, with broad areas of and a solid foundation for cooperation in relevant agricultural sectors. China is willing to promote the application of more advanced and suitable technologies locally to help people in Southern Thailand alleviate poverty and achieve prosperity.
