On October 11, Consul General Wang Zhijian attended the "Pure Voice, Pure Heart" Chinese Song Competition hosted by Kobdarnsuksa Foundation School. Also present were Huang Zhenzhu, Vice Mayor of Hat Yai City, and Zhang Jungui, President of the Songkhla Thai-Chinese Community Association.

In his speech, Consul General Wang stated that Chinese is one of the most beautiful languages in the world and an important carrier of Chinese civilization. With China's cultural industry thriving, new and impressive Chinese songs keep emerging and reaching a global audience as a vital bridge for inheriting Chinese culture and deepening the friendship between the Chinese people and people from other countries. He encouraged more singing enthusiasts in Southern Thailand using Chinese songs as a medium to deepen their understanding of China and appreciate the profoundness of Chinese culture.

Consul General Wang also presented trophies to the award-winning contestants.
