On March 12, Consul General Wang Zhijian visited the Old City Mosque in Songkhla, interacting face-to-face with Muslim community members and donating Ramadan packages. The Chairman of the Songkhla Provincial Muslim Committee, Sakriya Bilsalaeh and the Imam, among others, participated.
Wang stated that Ramadan is a sacred and auspicious month for the Muslim world, and the Chinese Consulate General in Songkhla hopes that this visit to the community will allow the Muslim people of southern Thailand to feel the warm greetings and heartfelt blessings from their Chinese friends. He expressed hope for future cooperation that will benefit ordinary Muslims and further deepen mutual understanding between the people of China and Thailand.
