On June 3, Consul General Wang Zhijian attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation Public Benefit Organation, along with a scholarship and rice donation ceremony. More than 200 participants were present, including Mr. Lek Tantiwongpaisan, Chairman of the Foundation, members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and student representatives from various schools.
Consul General Wang commended the Foundation for upholding its mission of helping those in need and giving back to society. He highly praised its significant contributions in disaster relief, charitable and public welfare initiatives, and educational support over the years. He encouraged the Foundation to continue serving as a bridge linking communities, to remain a model of philanthropy within the Thai-Chinese community, and to inject lasting vitality into the enduring friendship embodied in the spirit of “China and Thailand are as close as one family.”
